Anti-Glare Films

End the squint. Keep the view.

Glare is what makes a bright window unusable: a washed-out monitor, a TV you can't see by afternoon, a reception desk you can't sit at without sunglasses. Anti-glare film softens the harsh brightness at the window so screens are readable and eyes are comfortable — without turning the room into a cave.

Glare control is a trade-off between brightness and comfort, so we usually look at where people actually sit and where the sun falls before choosing a grade. Lighter films suit rooms that need to stay bright; stronger ones suit fully exposed desks and display glass. It's often combined with heat control, since the two problems tend to arrive together.

Why people choose it

  • Screens and TVs readable in bright rooms
  • Less eye strain at windowside desks
  • Softer, more even daylight
  • Keeps the outside view
  • Pairs with sun control film for heat and glare together
  • Applied to your existing windows

How it works

  1. 1Site visit. We look at the glass in person — which way it faces, what the room suffers from (heat, glare, overlooking, safety) and how big each pane is.
  2. 2Film selection. A film is matched to your glass and your problem, and you see the options against your own windows before anything is ordered.
  3. 3Installation. Glass prepared and cleaned, film applied wet for accurate positioning and squeegeed flat. Floors protected and the area tidied afterwards.
  4. 4Aftercare. Care and curing guidance at handover, and a phone number that still gets answered if anything needs a second look.

Common questions

How is anti-glare different from sun control film?+

They overlap. Sun control film reduces heat and glare together; anti-glare focuses on cutting visible brightness so screens and eyes are comfortable. Many jobs use one film that does both, and we'll tell you which makes sense.

Will it make my office dark?+

It will reduce brightness — that's the point — but we choose a grade that keeps the room usable. Lighter films are available for spaces that are already dim.

Does it work for east-facing windows?+

Yes. East-facing glass gets harsh low morning sun, which is often a bigger glare problem than heat. A glare-focused film is usually enough there.
